LUDLOW – A 72-year-old man was driving a 2005 Ford sedan, with a 74-year-old female passenger. For reasons that remain under investigation, the driver who was driving in the #1 lane lost control of the Ford. The Ford went into the center median, overturned, and came to a rest on its wheels.
The man and the woman both suffered moderate injuries and were transported by ground ambulance to Barstow Community Hospital. Later, the two were transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for a more advanced level of care.
CHP officials from the Barstow area said that drugs and/or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the collision. The collision remains under investigation at this time.
