HESPERIA – A 13-year-old Cedar Middle School girl is missing and her family is asking for the public’s help to locate her. On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, Maria Uribe went to school as usual at her school located at 13565 Cedar Street in the City of Hesperia.
The school cameras show Maria, who was wearing jeans and a grey sweater still on campus at 3:20 p.m. Maria’s mother said that Maria does not have a phone and she does not believe that she has a boyfriend at this time. She also said that she has never run away from home, but this time it is a possibility because of a recent disagreement they had.
Maria is described as being 5’2” tall, 130 pounds, hazel eyes, and light brown hair. Anyone who has seen Maria is asked to contact her mother, Berenice at 760-524-2278 or the Hesperia Police Department at (760) 947-1500.
