HESPERIA – A family is seeking the public’s help to assist them in providing a proper burial for their loved-one who was suddenly taken from them on Saturday morning.
According to his family, Seanquoine Walker, 19, of Hesperia, was on his way to play basketball when he was struck by an oncoming train not far from Hesperia and Muscatel Roads. The incident was reported at around 7:35 a.m. Through investigation, it was learned that Walker was walking northbound with headphones on as the train, also heading northbound approached. Family and friends took to social media describing Walker as funny, nice, sincere, humble and just about all, mentioned his love for basketball.
Like most, not ever thinking about the death of such a young person, his family is not only struggling to deal with the recent loss, but now are also faced with the expense of a funeral. “We don’t have enough money to cover funeral costs and we all have to take time off of work to be together and make arrangements,” said his sister on a Go Fund Me Account.
Anyone who would like to donate funds to assist with the funeral can do so through the Go Fund Me Account.
