CORONA – A father and son were shot in a Corona alleyway on Sunday night. At around 8:45 p.m. police were dispatched to a shots fired call in the 1200 block of West Tenth Street in the City of Corona. When officers arrived, they located two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Arlit Chanloeung, 21, and his father, Chyleng Chanloeung, 48, were treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel and rushed to Corona Regional Medical Center.
Arlit died as a result of his injuries and Chyleng was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Chyleng has since been released. Arlit’s older brother said via social media that there was no motive for the shooting that occurred in front of their home.
