FONTANA – A 24-year-old Fontana man was arrested on a child pornography warrant and during the arrest, he was located with additional child pornography.
The Fontana Police Department’s Fugitive Apprehension Team responded to the home in the 9000 block of Kempster Avenue looking for fugitive Edgar Carizalez on Wednesday. Carizalez was wanted on a $750,000 bail for distributing child porn to minors, communicating with minors for sexual acts, distribution of child pornography, possession of over 600 child pornographic images. The warrant was issued following January 20, 2016, arrest by the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
When authorities arrived he was located inside the bathroom, where he was attempting to hide his cellular phone. During a search of his cell phone and electronic storage devices, authorities found additional child pornographic videos. Additional evidence indicated Carizalez had been communicating with underage girls requesting them to manufacture and send him videos of them engaging in sexual acts.
Carizalez was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for Communicating with a Minor for Sexual Acts, Possession of Child Pornography, and the $750,000 Warrant relating to his previous arrest.
