FONTANA – A 24-year-old Fontana man was arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornography authorities said.
The investigation was ongoing over the past couple of months and was looking into the uploading and sharing of child pornography over the internet. The Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has been investigating these crimes within the San Bernardino County.
On the morning of Tuesday, May 16, 2017, a search warrant was served at a home located in the 7400 block of Palmetto Avenue in the City of Fontana. During the search Richard Dejesus, 24, was arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornographic videos and images. Detectives located electronic storage devices that contained hundreds of child pornography videos and images.
Dejesus was booked into the Fontana Police Department and later transported to the West Valley Detention Center.
