FONTANA – A Fontana man was arrested in an Eastvale shopping center while occupying a stolen vehicle.
On Thursday, May 31, 2018, at around 11:55 p.m. deputies from the Eastvale station conducted a burglary suppression operation in several Eastvale shopping centers. While on patrol in the 12400 block of Limonite Avenue, a deputy made contact with the driver of a vehicle parked near the doors to a closed business. The driver was detained as the deputy requested vehicle information. The vehicle was learned to be stolen out of the City of Fontana. Ronald George Pena, was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for the possession of a stolen vehicle.
