DIAMOND BAR – A 26-year-old Fontana woman who killed six people, including two passengers in her vehicle in a wrong-way crash on the 60 freeway was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.
Olivia Carolee Culbreath pleaded no contest in May to six counts of second-degree murder for the February 9, 2014, wrong-way drunk driving collision that took the life of six. Culbreath who hours later was found to have a .15 percent blood alcohol content was determined to have driven against traffic on the 57 and 60 freeway in Diamond Bar leading to the fatal crash. All four occupants of the vehicle she crashed head-on with were killed, while her two passengers, including her sister, were also killed.
Culbreath was previously arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in a collision and was warned about the dangers of driving under the influence. She was also advised that if she was to be rearrested for a similar incident resulting in death, she would face murder charges. For late-breaking news, follow 24/7 Headline News on our Los Angeles County Facebook group, Riverside County Facebook group, Coachella Valley News group, US News group, Victor Valley/Inland Empire Facebook group.
