FONTANA – Motorists can expect traffic delays in the coming weeks due to the closure of South Highland Avenue between Mango Avenue and Sierra Avenue. Westbound traffic in this area will be closed for road construction 24 hours a day from Thursday, December 6 through Friday, December 21, 2018.
Detour routes are as follows:
Traffic on northbound Mango Avenue will be detoured east on South Highland Avenue, south on Palmetto Avenue, west on Baseline Avenue and north on Sierra Avenue.
Traffic on westbound South Highland Avenue will be detoured south on Mango Avenue, west on Baseline Avenue and north on Sierra Avenue.
Motorists should use alternate routes whenever possible.
