HEMET, Calif. – An Illinois couple visiting Hemet with their newborn child were pleasantly surprised when someone turned in their lost wallet with all the all of the money still inside.
When found, the wallet was turned into the Hemet Police Department. The wallet contained a large amount of money Hemet Police said. “With a lot of teamwork between the Hemet Police Department and the Sullivan Police Department in Illinois, we were able to contact a relative in Illinois who in turn provided information leading our officers to the owner of the wallet,” Hemet Police officials said.
The owner wanted to thank the person who found the wallet.
