HEMET, Ca. – A 26-year-old man lost his life after being shot in an alleyway the 1100 block of W. Oakland Avenue in the City of Hemet.
Hemet Police responded to the area in response to shots fired at around 8:40 p.m. When they arrived they found a man down and unresponsive. They immediately began CPR in an attempt to save his life. Hemet Fire and AMR responded to transport the victim to the hospital. The victim died as a result of his injuries. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.
The Hemet Police Department is seeking public assistance in this active investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Detective Sgt.
