HESPERIA – A 47-year-old Hesperia man lost his life after being struck in the back of his head by the side view mirror of a passing vehicle while riding his bicycle on Friday night.
At around 8:38 p.m. Ryan Dennis Angus was riding his bike on Ranchero Road near Lassen Road in the City of Hesperia when the mirror of a white utility truck struck the back of his head tossing him from his bicycle.
Angus suffered major head trauma and was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The male driver of the truck that hit Angus remained at the scene. Angus was pronounced deceased on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.
