HESPERIA – A Hesperia gang member was arrested after attempting to flee from deputies on Tuesday evening.
At around 4:00 p.m. deputies from the High Desert Regional Gang Team conduction a traffic stop in the southeast parking lot of Bear Valley and 2nd Avenue. The suspect, identified as Randolph (Randy) Dudek, 36, got out of his vehicle and attempted to flee from deputies. The deputies pursued him on foot to the Desert Valley Hospital parking lot, where he was taken into custody.
Dudek was found to have three outstanding felony arrest warrants. These warrants were for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and a no-bail probation violation. He was also found to be in possession of a taser. He was transported to the High Desert Detention Center.
