HESPERIA – A 35-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for the sexual molestation of a 14-year-old girl. On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, a deputy from the Hesperia station responded to the 10000 block of Cypress Avenue for the report of the sexual molestation of the female victim. The minor reported that for a year, the suspect, Alejandro Castillo, had been touching her inappropriately.
The allegations were thoroughly investigated and evidence to corroborate the allegations was collected. On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, Castillo was arrested in the 600 block of 3rd Street. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child. He is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Castillo worked as a DJ, out of the City of Hesperia calling himself “DJ Alex”. Anyone with information pertinent to the case should contact the Hesperia Police Department at 760-947-1500.
