EASTVALE Ca. – A 23-year-old Hesperia man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Friday morning.
At around 5:40 a.m., the California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the southbound I-15 freeway transition to the westbound 60 freeway. CHP officials said that the motorcycle collided with a vehicle on the interchange. When the CHP and emergency medical personnel arrived, they found Shawn Elder deceased at the scene of the collision.
A family friend of the Elder family said in a memorial fund, that Shawn Elder was on his way to work when he lost his life after being involved in the collision. He is survived by his father, John, mother Debbie, and sister Mckenna. He also had an older brother who is also deceased. Shawn Elder was described as funny, kind and generous.
