HESPERIA, Calif. – A Hesperia woman was arrested for assault on a victim who lives on the same property she lives on.
On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at around 9:49 p.m., sheriff’s dispatch received a call about an assault that occurred in the 8200 block of Third Avenue. When the deputy arrived, he learned that the victim and Starquisha Dunn, 25, were involved in a verbal altercation. The altercation began when Dunn sat in the victim’s living room.
“The victim stated Dunn lives in the main residence on the property and is not to be inside of the guest house were victim lives,” said Hesperia Sheriff’s Station Spokesman Edgar Moran. “Both parties began yelling at each other when Dunn grabbed an unknown object and threw it at the victim. The object hit the victim in the forehead and caused a small laceration approximately one inch in length.”
Dunn was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Assault. She was released on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at around 4:24 a.m. There are no court appearances scheduled at this time.
