SAN BERNARDINO – A Highland man lost his life on Wednesday evening after a collision in San Bernardino authorities said.
Michael Patrick Paulsen, 36, was riding his motorcycle in the 2600 block of Orange Street just before 6:30 p.m. when he was involved in a collision with a car. Paulsen was ejected from the motorcycle as a result of the collision. When emergency medical personnel arrived they located Paulsen lying on the road and transported to St. Bernardino Medical Center where he was pronounced dead as a result of the collision.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this time. Paulsen leaves behind three children, a 17-year-old son, a 16-year-old daughter, and a 15-year-old daughter. His family has set up a Go Fund Me account for anyone willing to help them with the unexpected costs associated with his unexpected death.
