SAN BERNARDINO – A Highland woman, who was out on bail for an unrelated incident was arrested for possession of stolen property on Tuesday afternoon. Detectives from the Highland station served a search warrant at 2622 North Lugo Avenue in the City of San Bernardino. While searching, detectives found stolen mail, credit cards, and a rifle.
David Weaver, 56, and Rebecca Silva, 29, both of Highland were arrested at the scene. Silva who was out on bail on theft and narcotics related charges was booked into the Central Detention Center for possession of stolen property. Weaver remained at the home due to an undisclosed health condition. The report will be forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Officer for review and filing of charges.
Authorities believe that Rebecca Silva may have been involved in other incidents; therefore, they are releasing her booking photo.
