HIGHLAND – A 20-year-old woman was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after stabbing a 19-year-old man during an argument on Wednesday evening.
Deputies from the Highland Station responded to the home in the 26000 block of Ward Street in the City of Highland for the report of the stabbing. When they arrived they found the man suffering from a stab wound. The injury sustained was non-life-threatening.
Through investigation authorities learned that the victim was attacked by Highland resident Iyonna Dunn. Dunn was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
