NORTH EDWARDS, Calif. – Authorities are investigating the finding of human remains located by a hiker in North Edwards, which is under 10 miles north-east of Edwards Air Force Base.
On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at around 5:30 p.m. deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Department —Mojave Substation responded to the report of possible human remains located around 4 miles north of North Edwards, off Claymine Road. When deputies arrived they confirmed that the remains were human. The remains were in a severe state of decomposition.
