Through investigation, it was learned that there was an ongoing dispute between the two roommates, which
escalated over the period of several hours. Maxwell left the home and just before the shooting he returned to the home. The disturbance continued and escalated with Maxwell forcing his way into the home and a shooting occurred. Authorities said that the roommate was interviewed as well as witnesses. The roommate was released and the District Attorney’s office will review the investigation information. The identity of the roommate is not being disclosed at this time for his safety.
