KERN COUNTY, Ca. – Kern County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating human remains located north of Mojave (approximately 50 miles east of Bakersfield).
On Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at around 2:38 p.m. deputies responded to the report of possible human remains located at Cache Creek Road and Highway 58. Homicide detectives responded to the scene and confirmed the remains were human skeletal remains. The Coroner responded to collect the remains.
The Coroner will work to determine the identity of the remains and the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing, if you have any information you are urged to call the Kern County Sheriff’s office at 661-861-3110.
