Hotel Bartender Arrested for Allegedly Raping Customer in Her Hotel Room

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – A hotel bartender was arrested for allegedly entering a customer’s hotel room and raping her.

On Sunday, March 3, 2019, at around 7:00 p.m., Palm Spring Police officers responded to the hotel in the 100 block of West Tahquitz Canyon in the City of Palm Springs for the report of a sexual assault. When officers arrived they learned that Adan Alejandro, 30, of Desert Hot Springs, was a bartender at the hotel and had been serving the woman drinks. The victim’s purse, which had her hotel room key went missing while she was at the bar area of the hotel.

The victim went back to her hotel room and fell asleep, only to awaken to the suspect sexually assaulting her. ”The victim was able to get away from Adan and seek help to call PSPD,” Palm Spring Police officials said. “Adan was detained inside the hotel room by a relative of the victim until PSPD arrived.” Police officers made contact with Adan as another officer contacted the victim. Adan was arrested for Burglary, Sexual Penetration with Foreign Object, Rape, and sexual battery.
