INDIO – Indio Police arrested a potentially dangerous suspect with a felony warrant on Monday.
On Monday, October 30, 2017, officers conducted a probation search of the home belonging to Daniel “Boonie” Rangel. During the search of his home, a short barrel AR-15 rifle and Glock 21 with a 24-round extended magazine were found along with additional ammunition.
Rangel was booked for several felony charges including, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of an assault weapon.
