JURUPA VALLEY – A 49-year-old Jurupa Valley man was arrested for drug dealing and probation violations on Thursday afternoon. At around 4:22 p.m. the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Gang Task Force conducted a probation search at the home in the 3000 block of Scenic Drive in Jurupa Valley.
The Jurupa Valley Station K-9 Unit was called to the scene to assist with the probation search. During the search, the K-9 alerted to certain areas in the backyard of the home. Buried in the backyard they found 6 ounces of methamphetamine and over an ounce of cocaine.
Lloyd Mestas was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in the City of Riverside for Possession of methamphetamine and cocaine for sales, prior drug sales convictions, probation violation, and committing a felony while out on bail.
