VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 27-year-old La Puente man died after a collision on Sunday morning.
At around 11:03 a.m., officers with the BNSF Police Department responded to the report of an ATV collision with a BNSF train at Industrial Blvd. and Santa Fe Avenue in the City of Victorville. The driver Michael Slavin, was driving a 2012 Polaris 800 at the time of the crash. San Bernardino County Coroner officials said that Slavin died at the scene.
At this time, the cause of the collision remains under investigation by the BNSF Police.
