LA QUINTA – An ongoing daycare child molestation investigation led to the arrested of a La Quinta man authorities said.
The Thermal Sheriff’s Station received the report of sexual assault at the ABC Day Care in the 45000 block of Carrie Lane in La Quinta in 2006. Since the report, the daycare has been closed for business. Two additional victims were since identified as victims of sexual abuse authorities said.
John Arledge was arrested following a search warrant on April 20, 2017, on the 45000 block of Carrie Lane. He was booked into the Indio Jail for felony child molestation
Due to the ongoing investigation involving children, no further information will be released at this time.
The Sheriff’s Department is encouraging anyone with information regarding these incidents is to contact Investigator Melissa Nieburger at the Thermal Sheriff’s Station at (760) 863-8950.
