Lake Arrowhead Woman Arrested for Abusing Newborn Foster Child

LAKE ARROWHEAD, Ca. – A Lake Arrowhead foster mother was arrested after the 2-month-old baby in her care was severely injured.

On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at around 4:30 p.m. detectives were called by the staff at Loma Linda University Medical Center Pediatric Intensive Care Unit regarding a baby boy under their care. The baby boy suffered from major injuries resulting from alleged abuse. Detectives learned that the victim was in the care of his foster mother, Brittney Jordan, 28, at their home in the 1400 block of Sequoia Street in the City of Lake Arrowhead.

Further investigation revealed that Jordan had caused the injuries to the victim. On September 2, 2020, Jordan was arrested and booked into jail for Child Abuse. She is being held in lieu of $100,000. At this time it is unclear if Jordan’s two biological children, ages 5 and 10 months, remain in the home.
