CORONA, CA.- A Lake Elsinore man was arrested for attempted murder and assault after a shooting at a Corona restaurant on Saturday night.
Police said that at around 9:20 p.m., police became aware of a shooting inside the Mariscos El Barco restaurant located at 1390 W. Sixth Street in the City of Corona. When police arrived they located a 24-year-old man inside suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive his injuries.
The suspect was identified as Ruben Guzman, 37. Guzman attempted to flee the area in a vehicle but was arrested at the scene. He was treated for injuries sustained during a bar fight and was subsequently transported to jail.
