LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. – A 24-year-old Lake Elsinore man lost his life after an incident that caused significant trauma to his body.
On Sunday, April 28, 2019, at around 10:30 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of W. Graham Avenue in the City of Lake Elsinore. When they arrived they located the deceased man, now identified as Brayan Guzman. Area residents were interviewed and the crime scene was secured in order to preserve and collect evidence.
The investigation led to the identification of the suspect, Victor Vega, 25, of Lake Elsinore. On Monday, April 29, 2019, Vega was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for murder. The Riverside Coroner will perform an autopsy on the body to determine the cause of death. No motive has been released at this time.
