LANCASTER, Ca. – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has identified the four people killed in a collision on Wednesday.
The four Lancaster residents killed in the deadly crash were identified as Victor Anthony Ocampo, 59, Thomas Saint Andrew, 41, Wendy Marie Fisher, 38, and Samantha Kathline Jensen, 26. At around noon on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, the collision near West Avenue H and 30th Street West in Lancaster was reported. The collision involved a tan Toyota Avalon and a Silver Volkswagen Jetta.
When deputies and emergency medical personnel arrived they found Ocampo and Jensen both deceased. Saint Andrew and Fisher were transported to a trauma center, where they died as a result of their injuries.
Through investigation it was learned that Saint Andrew was the sole occupant in the Toyota Avalon, while Ocampo, Fisher, Jensen, and two dogs were all in the Jetta unrestrained. The Avalon was believed to be driving on Avenue H when it entered the intersection on a red light. The Avalon collided with the Silver Jetta, which was driving northbound on 30th Street West. The Jetta was sent into a pole and the three occupants were ejected. The two dogs inside the vehicle also died in the crash.
