LANCASTER, Ca. – A Lancaster teen died after testing positive with the coronavirus.
The 17-year-old boy died of complications resulting from the virus, which for-the-most part, claims the lives of those elderly or in poor health. The teen whose father was working as an Uber driver, and also tested positive for the coronavirus. The teen was being treated at Antelope Valley Hospital when he died. The Los Angeles County Department of Health stated that the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has not yet verified if the cause of death was a result of the coronavirus.
The City of Lancaster Mayor is urging everyone, including those believed to be at low risk to remain at home.
