LENWOOD – A 34-year-old Lenwood man was arrested for holding his girlfriend at gunpoint and refusing to let her leave the Lenwood home on Wednesday.
At around 3:30 p.m. deputies from the Barstow Station responded to the 34000 block of Birch Road reference the false imprisonment report. When they arrived they learned that the victim had escaped from the home and called a friend, who called 911.
Roy William Watson was located at the home and a search warrant was obtained and served. When served, deputies located the handgun allegedly used during the incident and an AR-15 rifle and pump-action .12 gauge shotgun. Watson was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for False Imprisonment and Assault with a Firearm where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
