LENWOOD – A 21-year-old man was arrested after an argument led to shots fired in the City of Lenwood on Sunday night.
Authorities said that deputies from the Barstow Station responded to the home located on Goodwater Court at around 11:05 p.m. Through investigation, they learned that Tyler Andrew Segura got into an argument with the victim and went into the home to retrieve a firearm. He threatened to shoot the victim and then walked over to the front yard of the home and shot the victim’s unoccupied vehicle three times before leaving the scene.
When deputies responded, they noticed Tyler’s vehicle traveling on Main Street in the Lenwood area. The stopped his vehicle and detained him. He was positively identified as the suspect by witnesses and was subsequently booked into jail for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Threats, Shooting at an Unoccupied Vehicle, Felony Vandalism, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and a Parole Violation.
