BATON ROUGE, La. – Authorities at the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office said that a “bad day at work” led to a scrotum being torn during a fight between partners on New Years Eve.
The 18-year-old suspect, identified as Corey Jones was involved in a fight with his boyfriend after he got home from a difficult day at work. When the victim got home, the two became involved in an argument that led to a physical altercation at the home in the 8500 block of Leake Avenue. Jones, according to the victim’s statement grabbed his scrotum area and squeezed so hard it ripped open and bled profusely.
Authorities described the laceration as significant and believed to need several stitches to make the repair. Jones was taken into custody for felony domestic abuse leading to serious injury.
