VICTORVILLE – One man was airlifted after being shot on Tuesday afternoon. At around 1:22 p.m. Victorville Station deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to a home in the 12100 block of Pluto Drive just north of Bear Valley Road. When they arrived they located a man lying in the front yard with two gunshot wounds authorities said. The crime scene is believed to have been inside a bedroom of the home that the victim was found lying in front of.
The man was transported by ground ambulance to Desert Valley Hospital and was then transported by air ambulance to a trauma center. There is no suspect information available at this time, the suspect vehicle was described by a witness to be a gray or white SUV that went northbound on Pluto Drive. The condition of the victim is not known at this time. The investigation is ongoing, information will be made available as it is received.
