Victorville Home Explodes Cause Unknown

VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A Victorville man was arrested for the abuse of his 71-year-old female relative authorities said.

On Friday, March 27, 2020, deputies were dispatched to an apartment complex located at 16465 Green Tree Boulevard in the City of Victorville. When they arrived they learned that Charles Harold Krug, 52, and his elderly family member lived together in that apartment home and were involved in a verbal altercation. Both told deputies what the other did to upset them and the deputies presented the two with their options, since they both lived in the home.

The following day, the victim called 911 to report physical abuse. “The female victim reported that sometime after the deputies left the home on the 27th, Krug came into her room and held her down on the bed while yelling at her,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “She reported Krug would not let her up and took her phone so she could not call for help.”

Krug was arrested for harming an elderly person and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. He is currently being held at the West Valley Detention Center.
