FONTANA – A Bloomington man was arrested after a Fontana bar fight turned deadly on Friday night. At around 9:10 p.m. a 911 call was made that there was a shooting at Ziggi’s Bar, located at 8741 Cherry Avenue. When deputies arrived they located the victim unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel responded and determined that the man later identified as 30-year-old Fontana resident Gilberto Alfonso Hernandez.
Homicide investigators responded to the scene to assume the investigation. Through investigation it was learned that there was a fight in the bar restroom of the bar. During the fight the victim was allegedly shot byJohn Anthony Morales, 64, of Bloomington.
