RIVERSIDE – A Riverside man was arrested for recording females at a Riverside Target Store fitting room authorities said.
A month-long investigation during May 2017 led to Jonathan Gonzalez, 31, of Riverside. According to the Riverside Police Department, Gonzalez followed the females into dressing rooms at the store located in the 3300 block of Arlington Avenue. Gonzalez would go into an adjoining stall and secretly record the victims. Victims have positively identified Gonzalez as the suspect in the investigation.
On Thursday, June 15, 2017, Detectives from the Riverside Police Department’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit served and executed a search warrant in the 1700 block of Edmon Way in the City of Riverside. Gonzalez was arrested for two counts of invasion of privacy and booked into jail. Police believe that there may be additional victims.
The Riverside Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify any potential victims.
