BAKER, Calif. – A male pedestrian died after being hit by a semi-tractor trailer rig on the southbound lanes of the 15 freeway north of Afton Canyon.
On April 6, 2019, at around 4:38 p.m., a 911 call reporting the accident in rural Baker was reported. Emergency medical personnel responded to the area and found Casey Jolly, 42, a resident of Temecula, deceased at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol – Barstow office.
