RIVERSIDE, Ca. – Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man found deceased in a vehicle on Sunday night.

At around 9:44 p.m., Riverside Police responded along with the Riverside FIre Department to the 7400 block of El Sol Way in the Casa Blanca neighborhood for the report of a man down inside a vehicle. When they arrived they located the victim in the driver’s seat of the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Homicide investigators and the Riverside County Coroner arrived to assume the investigation. The identity of the victim will be released once his family has been notified.
