VICTORVILLE – A 49-year-old Highland man was cited for the possession of a controlled substance after a Victorville deputy stopped him for expired registration tags on Thursday.
At around 1:00 a.m. deputies made contact with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Michael Sass on Gemini street. He was found to have an outstanding warrant for the possession of a controlled substance. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Sass was cited and the case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s office.
