VICTORVILLE – A 42-year-old man was transported to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Monday evening. At around 5:52 p.m. dispatchers received a call that there was a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on CA-395 north and Luna Road in the City of Victorville.
When deputies and AMR responded, they found the man lying on the right shoulder of the road complaining of pain in his legs. The female driver of the black Toyota Echo remained at the scene and was cooperative with the investigating deputies.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Victorville Station. Alcohol or drugs are not a suspected factor in this collision.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
