Man Killed in Bloomington Shooting

BLOOMINGTON – A 39-year-old Bloomington man was shot dead by an unknown suspect on Sunday. At around 1:07 a.m. deputies from the Fontana station responded to a shots heard report in the 18100 block of Santa Ana Avenue. When they arrived they located Juan Marquez in the driveway of the home suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel responded to aid the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. There is no suspect information at this time. There is no additional information available for release.
