MORENO VALLEY – A man was shot and killed in the City of Moreno Valley on Monday afternoon and the suspect(s) remain unidentified authorities said.
Moreno Valley police responded to the shooting in front of an apartment complex in the 2300 block of Hemlock Avenue. When they arrived just moments after the call, they located a 24-year-old man who had been shot in his chest. Officers began attempting to revive the man as paramedics were en route. Paramedics took over and rushed the victim to Riverside University Health System Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to assume the investigation. The incident remains under investigation and no other information is available. The identity of the victim is being withheld until family is notified.
