RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Manheim Auto auction in Riverside has reported that over 600 car keys were stolen from vehicles on their lot in the past couple of months.
The auction is located at 6446 Fremont Street in the City of Riverside. On Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at around 9:30 p.m., a suspect was seen getting into a parked vehicle and walking away with the key. The security guard made contact with the suspect, who was then learned to have an entire bag full of keys. He fled in a vehicle that belonged to Manheim, but abandoned it nearby.
The suspect is described as a White male adult in his 50’s, about 5’7” tall and 170 pounds, with blond or light reddish-colored hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.
