ADELANTO – Deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Department and emergency medical personnel rushed to an Adelanto Apartment complex in response to the report of a man stuck underneath a vehicle on Monday.
At around 12:20 p.m. a 911 call was made reporting that the man was trapped underneath the fallen vehicle at the Ridgeview Apartments, located at 11210 Auburn Avenue in the City of Adelanto.
When deputies arrived they learned that the man was under the vehicle working on it when the vehicle fell on him. Medics responded to the location, removed the man from under the vehicle and began CPR. Despite lifesaving efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries. The victim, according to friends leaves behind a wife and two small children.
