BRONX, NY. – A 24-year-old New York woman was arrested after smashing a coffee pot filled with hot water over a customer’s head in the McDonald’s drive-thru.
On March 4, 2020, at around 11:20 p.m. Emonie Reed was working at the drive-thru at the restaurant located at 1600 Boston Road in Bronx, New York when the upset 29-year-old man came up to the window. Authorities said that during a verbal altercation the customer spit at her and attempted to climb through the drive-thru window. Reed was arrested and charged with assault, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment.
The male customer was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition as of Saturday evening.
