MORENO VALLEY – A Moreno Valley man was arrested on Monday after stabbing his wife to death officials said. At around 4:30 a.m. Moreno Valley officers responded to the stabbing at an apartment complex located near John F. Kennedy Drive and Perris Boulevard. When they arrived they found the woman dead inside the apartment home. Also inside the home was Jose Alexander Rivas, 36.
Homicide detectives responded to assume the investigation leading to the arrest of Rivas. Rivas was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside for murder.The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is encouraged to call, Detective Bishop with the Central Homicide Unit at 951-955-2777 or Detective Patterson with the Moreno Valley Police Department at 951-486-6700.
