MENIFEE – A 32-year-old Moreno Valley man was arrested after a suspected fraudulent credit card purchase was made at a Menifee Target Store last Friday. At around 8:30 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 30000 block of Haun Road after store security notified them of the purchase made and let them know that the man who made the purchase was still in the store parking lot. When they arrived they made contact with Ramon Aguayo near the entrance of the store.
Aguayo fought deputies as they tried to detain him and several others in the area assisted the deputy in detaining him. It was learned that the credit card Aguayo used belonged to a victim of a burglary. The burglary, along with two other vehicle burglaries had just occurred in the Powerhouse Gym parking lot, which was located in the 29000 block of Bradley Road. Inside the suspect’s vehicle a loaded Glock 9mm handgun, which was learned to be stolen from a vehicle in Los Angeles County
Aguayo who was found to have an active felony arrest warrant out of Los Angeles County for auto theft and evading was also out on bail for a Riverside County auto theft. He was booked into the Southwest Detention Center for the felony warrant, as well as felony burglary and gun charges.
